2024 will be a year with record figures for attendance at the 89 museums we manage throughout the country, which is estimated to reach 15 million this year. Numbers still growing compared to 2023, which had already seen an increase in sold tickets, which exceeded the previous year’s data by 30% with over 13 million visitors welcomed. A figure that required an increase in service workers (today over 1000) to cope with the significant increase in attendance. Since 2021, with the opening of the first Visitor Center in Florence, Opera Laboratori has created a network of concept points (today 8 throughout Italy) dedicated to museum services and visit experiences, which sees the last piece with the opening of Dear Guests in Siena, together with the web portal of the same name, a virtual showcase to best respond to all guests’ needs.
