Carpentry
The Opera Laboratori various sectors have seen significant development of their skills and technologies over time.
In the Carpentry Laboratory, cutting-edge CNC electronically controlled machinery is used which allows, starting from a CAD project, to create drawings on wood even in 3D. For dry painting, the Slate Cabin with double suction motor is used which allows to obtain a high-level painted product, also protecting the worker from painting dust. To carry out the projects, we mainly use wood (poplar, fir, birch, ash, oak, noble chipboard), as well as paints (water-based, solvent-based and various) and steel. All these materials are used in the production of museum displays, exhibitions and furnishings relating to the spaces in which Opera Laboratori manages the Museum Services.
